Denise Johnson's Testimony
A number of years ago, I found myself continually in a backslidden state. No longer sincerely attending church and if I did, I’d sit outside content that at least I was there. One Sabbath after not attending, my mother shared that she had attended and that there was a dynamic pastor in place and that I must attend on next Sabbath. So on the following Sabbath, I dressed my two kids and we excitedly went to church for my 10 year son and 9 year daughter would often ask to go back to church.
That day I heard and met Pastor Reginald O. Robinson. In time, my children began requesting baptism, so the Discover Bible Guides were provided. I began studing the lessons and administering the study to my kids. A few short months later he baptized my kids and he re-baptized me in December of 1997.

Pastor Robinson has continued to guide and inspire me through my journey in the Lord's service. He clearly saw my need to work for the Lord so he directed me to a media ministry. I was given a job there in the accounting department but the position was only temporary. One day I was sharing my desire to stay on at the media center with one of my friends. She shared that because of my interest and desire for the study of God's word, I would fit right in with the Discover Bible School. So I applied. With in a few weeks I was hired as clerical/administrative support and then soon after as a Bible Instructor.
One day I attended a workers meeting at the Southern California Conference Greater LA Region to introduce the wonderful evangelistic tool, the Discover Bible School program, to the pastors there. Adolphus Garnett, Pastor of the Antelope Valley Seventh-day Adventist church at that time was in attendance. He registered his church for the program that I was offering giving me the name of his elder who would be responsible for implemeting the program in his church. The elder’s name was Michael Johnson. One month later Michael and I were personally introduced to one another by Pastor Garnett during the 2001 Greater LA Region Convocation held in Inglewood, California.
The Wedding
We were married the following year. From this union, Michael’s End Times Like These Ministries came together with my evangelistic ideas and interests and today we are Director/Speaker and Associate Director of End Times Like These Ministries.
